Discere Vivere collects personal data only when you contact us through our website or create a user account. We do not use analytics or advertising tools, we do not sell your data, and everything we store is hosted within the European Union. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

Discere Vivere is the controller of the personal data described in this policy within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
2. What data we collect and why

We do not collect any data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making. We do not use analytics or tracking tools on this website.
3. Photographs and minors
Our gallery may feature photographs from our workshops, trainings, and events. Where photographs show identifiable people, we publish them only on the basis of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Where the person shown is a minor, we obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before publication. You (or your child's guardian) may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to vdiscere@gmail.com, and we will remove the photograph from the website.
4. Who processes data on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers (processors) to run this website:

Our website and its data are hosted in the EU. Google may in limited cases process supporting data in third countries; such transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties, unless we are legally required to do so.
5. Links to other websites
Our Shop page links to external online bookstores. When you follow such a link, you leave our website and the privacy policy of that external site applies. We do not transmit any of your personal data to those sites.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16),
erase your data (Art. 17),
restrict processing (Art. 18),
receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20),
object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

7. Security
Access to personal data is limited to the members of our team who need it for the purposes described above. Data is stored on infrastructure with industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls) provided by Google Firebase within the EU.
8. Changes to this policy
If we introduce new features that involve personal data (for example new forms or tools), we will update this policy and change the date at the top of this page.
